Rachael Beard is fondly called Rae-Rae by friends. Her memorial is a hand sculpted, granite angel embracing a black all polished heart. Rachael's parents requested her name and dates be placed on the base so her etched portrait would be the only image in the large heart. On the back of this black granite tombstone is her signature along with a large etching of Rachael, as a younger girl, and a page from a notebook of a hand written poem.
