Cast Plaques
Bronze plaques are used where elegance, durability and quality are of the highest priority. It is not uncommon to see bronze plaques in public recreation areas, churches and office buildings. Cast bronze plaques are also used as prestigious awards or as dedicatory and commemorative purposes. Nothing surpasses the durability and beauty of cast bronze. Because of its own protective coating called patina, bronze will never corrode.
Each plaque we make is custom made according to your requirements. Plaques can be produced in a variety of sizes and there are many borders, letter sizes and styles, finishes to choose from. It is only a matter of conveying your requirements to our graphics designer who will work with you to create the custom cast plaque. Virtually any type of design can be produced in a flat relief or with a dimensional sculpture. We utilize state-of-the-art photopolymer patterns to allow us to turn any graphic into a plaque of permanence. We also offer attractive, but economical cast aluminum plaques are also quite popular.

Cast Letters
West Memorials offers a comprehensive line of metal letters to enhance the image of any organization. Cast letters have a traditional and distinguished appeal. Letters can be produced in a variety of methods, including cast, water-jet and machine routed. Any letter style is available in bronze, aluminum, brass, copper and stainless steel. We are able to produce almost every popular letter style and our commitment to quality ensures attractive results regardless of which material or finish you choose. A baked-on polyurethane protective coating preserves the finish.

Etched Plaques
Chemically etched metal plaques are an alternative to traditional cast plaques when detailed graphics or photographs need to be used. The etching process permits exact reproduction of most artwork. Color and dot matrix patterns can also be successfully applied to etched metal. Etched plaques are frequently used to depict images with fine detail or if lettering is too small for a cast plaque. Photographs of buildings, people or other subjects can be etched as halftone images. Etched plaques can be attached to cast metal plaques, mounted to wood mounts or used alone. Etched plaques are not recommended for outdoor installation due to oxidation caused by heat & moisture. West Memorials offers a large variety of metal surfaces depending upon the application of item. Bronze, stainless steel and zinc are the most common metals used.

ADA Signs
Our cast metal ADA signs comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act and can be used indoors and outdoors. Standard cast bronze and aluminum signs identify most common accessible areas, for both interior and exterior installations. Grade 2 Braille and all other graphics are raised .100" from the background, and the Braille is painted with the background color. Custom colors and border details help to unify the design elements in a sign project, while complying with ADA requirements. If the majority of plaque wording is done in Braille, we highlight the Braille text with the other plaque graphics. We can provide line for line translations in Braille on cast metal plaques.
